Doing the job right will generate the desired outcome. Managing the process increases the probability of achieving the desired outcome.


Make Problems Visible -
Problems should be made visible quickly… This is done through company "dashboards". Attack the problem, not the people.
 

Develop a sensitivity to see "waste" and drive it out - The forms of waste are: defects, overproduction, waiting, transportation, inventory, motion, extra processing and non-utilized talent.
